If you work from home you will spend many hours in it, for this reason the location of your office is very important. The ideal would be to have a space dedicated exclusively to this purpose, but it is not always possible. - Give priority to well-lit areas, better if you can locate your small office next to a window. Still, you’ll need spot lighting oriented toward the desk.

- Shelves and bookcases. Take advantage of every millimeter to place wall shelves or a bookcase, they are ideal for storing books and folders. On the other hand, drawers are more suitable for storing office accessories.
