As this year Halloween night falls on a weekend, some people will celebrate it with family or maybe with friends, they may reserve a place for dinner or have the party at home. If your case is the latter, do not miss these 7 ideas to decorate the table on Halloweenthey are easy to make and most importantly, they are cheap, in fact I have used materials that I had at home to make them.

1.- DIY spider web

For weave this web We don’t need to have eight legs, but we do need a hot glue gun, a sheet of parchment paper and a drawing of a spider web that will serve as a template. In addition, I have used some silicone bars with glitter that I had at home, although it is not essential, since it can be made with transparent silicone and leave it that way or paint it.

The execution is very simple:

1º.- We place the baking paper on top of the template (as it is semi-transparent it will be easily seen).

2º.- With the hot silicone gun we follow the drawing of the spider web.

3º.- Wait until the silicone has cooled down (a few minutes are enough) and remove it from the baking paper.

In this week’s newsletter I will include this template to make the web, if you are not subscribed, what are you waiting for? It’s free!.

2.- DIY bat napkin holder

East cardboard napkin holder with bat wings It will give a very fun touch to your Halloween table. To do this you will need a piece of black cardboard and scissors.

If you don’t have black and white vinyl for the eyes and fangs you can paint them with a white pencil on the cardboard. Even the most boring dish will stand out when you put this fun bat napkin holder on top.

Another alternative option is to make a pumpkin-shaped felt napkin holder.

3.- DIY mummy cutlery holder

to do this mummy cutlery holder you only need a roll of toilet paper and some paper. It also works a bandage, wet wipes, an old white t-shirt… in short, any material that can serve as a bandage and that we have on hand. Cheaper and more affordable impossible!

The steps to follow are those:

1º.- We cut the paper or material that we are going to use as a bandage into strips.

2º.- We paste a piece in a part of the roll with glue or tape.

3º.- We wind the roll in a disorderly way (in a straight line, diagonally, etc.).

For the eyes I have used black and white vinyl but they can also be painted on the cardboard of the toilet paper roll.

An alternative that is also very simple is to make a cutlery bag with a sheet of paper that has printed motifs related to Halloween and finish it off with some thread stitches.

this is “bloody” candle It will be an easy and very colorful resource to decorate the table on Halloween. For its elaboration you will need a normal candle and a melted red one (I have used old birthday candles).

You can melt the red candles by lighting the wick and letting them drip onto the white candles or by putting them in a bain-marie (this last option is faster).

Another option is to use a glass jar to make a ghost candle.

Another way to decorate the table on Halloween is by decorating the glasses. A very simple way to do it is with black lace, It will give a gothic and slightly sinister air to our table.

For this you can use both normal lace, lace washi tape or even a fishnet stocking. In this case I have used black lace and attached it to the cup with a red velvet tape.

If we are going to use plastic cups or we want to give our glasses a more casual air, we can paint Halloween motifs with a permanent marker or make a drawing with vinyl.
