How to block and remove stains from walls forever

Do your walls have stains that do not disappear even after several coats of paint? This video tutorial will show you how to use a special paint to block and remove stains from walls. Don’t waste any more time and money with products that don’t work.

White painted walls and ceilings bring light to your home and make it appear more spacious. However, they also get dirty easily, especially if there are children at home, since for them a white wall is like a large canvas on which to display their creativity.

In particular, the main cause of stains on my walls comes from my cats. In addition to leaving their marks, they love to rub against corners so they end up blackened in no time.

If you identify with any of these cases or your walls have stains that are difficult to remove such as coffee, soot, nicotine, tomato, smoke, etc., you can solve it by using a stain-blocking paint such as RX-403 Rualaix Cubreplus. This paint is matte white water-based and has a high coverage that will prevent dirt from seeping through the layers of paint. In addition, as it is washable, your walls will remain freshly painted for much longer. To know how to apply it, you just have to watch the following video tutorial.

How to block wall stains

The steps to apply a paint to block stains on the wall are very simple. They really do not differ too much from applying another type of paint for walls, as you can see below:

  1. First of all, we will have to clean the walls of dust to ensure a good grip. Floors and door and window frames will also be covered and protected to avoid staining them with paint.
  2. Next, a slightly diluted first coat of paint (between 5 and 10% water) will be applied. We will stir until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and it will be applied on the wall or ceiling with a brush, roller or airless spray.
  3. Wait a minimum of 4 hours before applying a second coat if necessary (in my case it was not). This second coat will be applied with the paint undiluted.

On the other hand, what I liked the most about this paint was its matte finish, which hardly has an odor and goes a long way, since I used just over a couple of liters of paint to paint the hallway. In addition, you can also use it even if you do not want to paint your walls white, since you can apply any other type of paint on it, either water-based or solvent-based.

Renovate the hallway

Sometimes it is not necessary to make big changes to get more out of a space. For example, a practical hanger at the entrance to the hallway will allow you to leave jackets and bags comfortably and always at hand. Specifically, the Inofix multiple stainless steel hanger has three double hooks and includes the screws for fixing it. It is also very resistant, since it is made of top quality stainless steel and each hook supports up to 10 Kg of weight.

Its installation is very simple, since you just have to follow the following steps:

  1. First, the place where we are going to place it will be marked. To do this, insert a pencil through the holes on the sides.
  2. Next, the holes will be made with the drill and the plugs will be inserted if we are going to install it on a wall. In my case I have screwed it directly onto a wooden panel, so drilling was not necessary.
  3. Finally, the screws will be placed and we will be able to hang whatever we want.

The truth is that this hanger has come in very handy, since the panel or pegboard supports that I made some time ago barely held anything and were not very practical. With this hanger, being double, the storage space is multiplied and it also has a very elegant design that I love and fits perfectly with my decoration.

Finally and given the dates we are in, I have taken the opportunity to decorate the panel with various Christmas decorations. For this I have combined red and black with the natural tone of the wood, what do you think of the result?
