There are multiple ways to recycle used or torn clothing to prolong its useful life. To convince yourself you just have to see these 15 ideas to recycle a men’s shirt.

Not one or two, but three shirts are the ones that my boy has torn in a week. Two of them have had a hole in the elbow area due to the wear of the fabric, the third one has been torn at the front:

  • I’m going to fix the ones that have broken at the elbow so that I can continue using them. I’ll sew some elbow pads for the winter one.
  • The other one that has the thinnest fabric I will make into a short sleeved shirt so she can continue to wear it in the summer.
  • With the third torn shirt I was going to make rags but then I remembered the different ways to recycle a duvet cover (you can see it at this link), so I thought I could get more out of it.
