There are multiple ways to recycle used or torn clothing to prolong its useful life. In the case of men’s shirts in Oxford fabric and checkered or striped patterns, it may seem that they are going to give little play for their sobriety, but nothing is further from it! To convince yourself you just have to see these 15 ideas to recycle a men’s shirt.
Not one or two, but three shirts are the ones that my boy has torn in a week. Two of them have had a hole in the elbow area due to the wear of the fabric, the third one has been torn at the front:
- I’m going to fix the ones that have broken at the elbow so that I can continue using them. I’ll sew some elbow pads for the winter one.
- The other one that has the thinnest fabric I will make into a short sleeved shirt so she can continue to wear it in the summer.
- With the third torn shirt I was going to make rags but then I remembered the different ways to recycle a duvet cover (you can see it at this link), so I thought I could get more out of it.
Searching for inspiration on the net I have found such original ideas for recycle a men’s shirtthat I am going to lack shirts to make the ones I like the most.
