Today we bring good news. This year, taking advantage of the proximity of the Christmas dates, in BricoBlog we have launched our first contest whose theme is, precisely this, Christmas Crafts.
There are countless ideas that you can carry out. It just takes some imagination. You can do anything you can think of, with new or recycled materials,… The only requirement is that the craft is related to Christmas.
The winner of the contest will receive this piece of prize with which to make all kinds of crafts.
The winner will be chosen by popular vote. So you can invite your friends to participate and give their vote.
Before you get down to business, read the following
1 Duration of the contest
The contest will start on Wednesday, November 20, until Friday, December 20. So you can publish your craft during the indicated dates.
2 How to participate?
a) Give your “like” to Facebook fan page, http://www.facebook.com/Bricoblog
b) Register as a BricoBlog user. (See tutorial to register).
c) You have to send us a Christmas craft made by you that meets the following requirements:
- A title.
- Material’s list.
- Instructions, step by step, of how you have done it.
- A minimum of 3 images. These should be of the highest quality possible, but no larger than 2 Mb per photo. Otherwise, the craft will not enter the contest.
- Category. You must select the category “Christmas Contest 2013”.
d) You can post as many Christmas crafts as you want. There is no maximum amount. The more you post, the greater the chance of being won.
and) Participants must be of legal age. In case of being a minor, the legal guardian of the minor would have to register, even if the craft is carried out by the latter.
F) Anyone can participate, regardless of country of residence.
g) we need to verify that the author of your craft is you. For this reason, one of the photos must include a small sign that says “Christmas Contest 2013 ”.
Make sure you meet all the requirements indicated in this point, “how to participate?”. Since even if you were the winner, if you did not meet any of the requirements, you would not be eligible for the prize, and it would go to the next winner on the list.
3. How to send the crafts?
The publications must be made directly on the blog.
If you are used to managing WordPress, you will not have a problem. The system is very simple.
Otherwise, don’t worry. At the top of this same page, she clicks on the «How to publish my craft?«, there you have two simple video-tutorials that show how you can register as a user, and how to publish your craft.
4. How do you get the winning craft?
The election will be held on the blog by popular vote.
The vote will not be unique, that is, any user, even if not registered, will be able to vote for more than one craft. But a single vote for craft.
The voting period will begin on Sunday, December 20, and will be open until Tuesday, December 31, both inclusive.
The craft with the most votes will be the winner.
In case more than one craft are tied for first place. A new period of 7 days will open on Friday, January 3, during which one of these crafts could be voted on.
In the event that a new tie occurs again, it will be the BricoBlog staff who will choose the winning craft, from among the finalists, taking into account creativity, originality and the result obtained.
5. What is the prize?
We will deliver directly to the winner’s address the fantastic prize that appears below:
Both the product (acquired at amazon.es) and the shipping costs are borne by BricoBlog.
For any question regarding product warranty, the winner should contact Amazon directly.
In the event that the product is out of stock, or in the event of unavailability for any reason unrelated to this blog, the prize will be replaced by its cash value, which will be paid to the winner through Paypal.

6. Award ceremony
Within 3 days from the election of the undisputed winner, we will contact him at the email address that he has indicated in his BricoBlog user profile.
From the sending of the aforementioned email, the winner will have 7 calendar days to provide us with the necessary data to be able to send him the prize, as well as a photograph of a minimum size of 600 x 600 pixels, to proclaim him the winner of the “special Christmas 2013 contest” in all our social networks and on the blog. Therefore, by giving us your data and your photo, you expressly authorize BricoBlog to use it.
7. Other aspects
a) Any person involved in this blog is excluded from the contest.
b) The commercialization of the product is not allowed, under any circumstances, by the winner.
c) All time frames listed above will start or end at 00:00 hours of the indicated dates, according to the peninsular time of Spain.
