Although I’m not a big fan of “of” days, I couldn’t resist doing a little DIY gift for Valentine’s Day. Thinking of something that was simple and that would serve as a gift for both her and him, I have made a Valentine’s checkbook to print. With it you will be sure to get it right and you will be able to draw a smile on the face of your partner.

I have advanced the post that I usually publish on Fridays to today so that time is not wasted on you if you want to try this diy gift (so there will be no excuses). The idea is to print a checkbook with 12 vouchers or coupons to give to your partner. Nine of them are ready for your boy or girl to “redeem” and the last three are customizable, so you can adapt them to your partner’s tastes.

Printable Valentine’s Check Book Materials

The materials what will you need to make this rDIY gift for Valentine’s Day are the following:

– A printing machineIt does not matter if it is inkjet or laser, what is interesting is that it is a color printer.

Sheets of paper or sheetsthey can be white or any other pastel color so that the motifs stand out when we print the vouchers.

Cardboard for the front and back cover of the checkbook.

– Nail scissors or a cutter.

– A drill to make holes, although if you don’t have them you can also make them with the tip of a cutter or scissors.

– A satin ribbon or lace to bind the checkbook.

How to make a voucher book step by step

Once we have all the materials steps we must take are the following:

1st.- First we will print the heelsfor this it can be done by printing the file in PDF format or each check book separately, adjusting the image to the size we want.

You can download the PDF of the Valentine’s checkbook to print and the images of each voucher or coupon from this link.

2º.- Once we have printed the vouchers or coupons, the next step will consist of trim them. If you have printed the file in PDF format, you must bear in mind that you should cut along the dotted area around the voucher, not along the vertical line inside. This vertical line delimits the side where you should make the holes with the hole punch.

In the following image I have marked in red the part that you should not cut.

3º.- So that the checkbook has more presence we will put a cover and a back made with cardboard. To do this we just have to cut two cardboard rectangles the same size as the vouchers.

I have chosen a red cardboard for both the front and the back. In front of the red cover, I have placed a semi-transparent one with hearts to create a more decorative effect.

4º.- To finish we will do some holes with the hole punch on the side of the vouchers, the cover and the back and we will pass a satin ribbon or cord to put it all together.

In this simple way we will have made a voucher book to surprise our partner on Valentine’s Day.

We can also customize the vouchers that we want to include gifts that we know they will like or reasons why we are with them, etc.

what did you think of this Valentine’s checkbook to print? With these vouchers, the excuses of “I didn’t know what to get you” or “I haven’t had time to buy you anything” are over. Of course, when your partner wants to exchange a voucher or coupon, you have to comply with what is written on it, otherwise the voucher…. not worth :p

I hope you have a good weekend and a happy Valentine’s Day and if you liked this post, I would appreciate it if you shared it on your social networks.
